Here's the poster for the upcoming Red Sonja pic due out next year. It was released at ComicCon the other day.

The good news: It stars one of my favorite obsessions - Rose McGowan.

The bad news: This means she and Robert Rodriguez are still together despite blog reports to the contrary. Now I'll have to cancel my trip out west to shamelessly throw myself at her feet. sigh

Reports from the 'Con have the movie being very action oriented with a push for a hard R rating from the director. Lots of sword fighting and some of that building jumping stuff that has become so popular these days in cinema.

I love Rose to death, but if that jumping stuff is going to involve her, there's gonna be some serious wire-work in this flick. Unless they do it cgi, in which case one has to hope it comes out more Spiderman than Catwoman.

Edit: Yes, I know, there shouldn't be buildings to speak of in this movie. I was refering to that new visual where people run at full speed bounding off various stationary objects to climb upward and so on. Like that bit in the beginning of Casino Royale. I believe the term is "parkour" for that type of action.
